Many insurers will cover the test if it's ordered for specific reasons, such as chest pain, abnormal stress test results, strong family history of heart disease, or suspected coronary artery disease. Typically, your physician must document the medical necessity and submit the referral with supporting information. We will do our best to help with the process.
