About this Condition

An aortic aneurysm is an abnormal enlargement (dilation) that occurs in the wall of the main blood vessel (aorta) that carries blood from your heart to your body.

Aortic aneurysms can occur anywhere in your aorta and may be symmetric tube-shaped (fusiform) or round bulge like (saccular).

*TrueScan scans are not designed to evaluate the heart, however some cardiovascular conditions can be detected.
